About your job
In this role, you’re a front-runner in shaping and governing our global technology- and platform strategies and architecture, while guiding our organization towards the desired results. Your mission is to ensure our technical platforms are modern, secure, interoperable, and scaled to an enterprise level – fully aligned with our digital transformation goals. You define the architectural principles, cloud-first strategies, and platform-centric models, ensuring that we can work in an efficient and agile manner.

As a key player in our enterprise-wide development community, you collaborate across teams to ensure our digital solutions are both business-fit and future-ready. You work closely with our business and domain architects to ensure our technology platforms – from ERP and CRM to data and integration – are optimized, resilient, and deliver expected value. You evaluate emerging technologies, drive standardization where it is required, and provide architectural expertise that influences strategic and tactical decisions at the highest levels.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup, with your base in either Stockholm, Tampere or Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture at SMR, you play a central part in connecting our strategic ambitions with the technical foundation needed to achieve them.

Your profile
You bring extensive experience in technology leadership, with deep knowledge of enterprise and platform architecture, including perspectives such as business capabilities, processes, data and technology. You’re well-versed in cloud transformation, platform engineering, and API-led integration. You’ve worked with platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and Azure, and you hold relevant certifications for this type of role. Experience with agile methods and tools is a big plus, especially within large and global companies. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is essential.

You’re a natural collaborator and leader who inspires and motivates others – even when opinions differ – and you’re able to guide and coach through change. Being solution-oriented, positive, and comfortable navigating complexity comes natural to you. You think value-first, then solve the root cause problems with agility and creativity. You understand the power of teamwork and know how to align technology with business goals.
